Planting calendar
Enter your two frost dates. Every plant gets its dates, counted in weeks from them. Northern hemisphere.
How these dates are made. They are rules of thumb, counted in weeks from your frost dates: hardy bulbs go in from your first autumn frost to six weeks after; tender tubers and corms are planted out from the last frost; potatoes go in a few weeks before it. Your soil, weather and variety can shift them by a few weeks. Find your average frost dates from a local weather service or extension office. General guidance: RHS, Clemson Extension.
